Well, I can say I have met some wonderful, gorgeous and intelligent women these past two months. They have allowed me to go in their homes, dig through closets and take out some of the most important items of clothing in their closets, they are all troopers. Starting over fresh and new gives us all a new perspective on our life . I want to say thank you to these wonderful women, they have encouraged me as well as inspired me to continue doing what I do. It takes a lot of strength to get rid of things that you have held onto for such a long time. You go girls!!!
What a wonderful job, I love clothes, I love helping others and being able to combine the two really is a huge blessing. Also, being able to meet new friends, sharing, talking about our feelings, and shopping for great buys, what more could any girl want. Thank you ladies for making my dream come true, and giving me the opportunity to do what I absolutely love!!! You are my little blessings. God is awesome!!! I pray that he helps me continue this journey that I have always longed for. And if the journey stops, I praise God for allowing me to be able to live my dream. Thank you all , and lets remember all the little blessing on our lives.

Sex in the City
Hey friends,
I had the best time Thursday night. I went to see one of my favorite movies with two wonderful friends, we had such a great time!!! If you want to see a feel good, fashion forward movie then you need to see Sex in the City. I know the clothes are a little extreme, but they are so beautiful!!!
The one thing that I admire about the movie and who wrote it is that she takes it to a whole different level of confidence. These girls look great!!! They all have wonderful self esteem, and when you see how good they feel in what they have on, it makes you wonder why can't we be like that? I am not talking about wearing extreme outfits, I am talking about putting something on that looks great on you and feeling like you can take on the world. And that's what the gorgeous women do in Sex in the City!!!
So as crazy as this sounds, if you go and see this fabulous movie, be sure to take in everything, their personalities, Wardrobe, and self confidence . I feel sure you too will have, and want, the fun, positive, energy that these amazing women give out!

Transition
Ok,
So if you read my blogs then you know what I am talking about when I say transition. I know we hate to spend a lot of money on clothes for a short time in between seasons. So here's a little tip that I like to share. Be sure to buy items that you can put jackets or cute cardigans over when you get into the fall and Winter months. Buy, tops that you can wear with leggings and or jeans, Skinnie or you regular jeans. You can put them with boots or a great pair of closed toe flats. And then add your gorgeous accessories and you are good to go!
Ladies, if you are short like me be sure to hang onto your pointy toe boots and shoes, this will make you look much longer in the legs

Sorry for all the post on your body type, but I think it is so important that we know what shape we are. We all want to look cute and trendy and we get discouraged because it doesn't look good on us. Don't get discouraged, because we can all wear the latest trends. Figuring out your body type will help you take that first steep into the fashion feel good world!!!

Confident
Ok,
I went jogging today and of course that is my time to myself and to God. I was thinking about how many times I had people tell me that I wouldn't make it in life. I think them now, telling me that made me stronger. I jokingly tell my friends that school was not easy for me, and that I would much rather be taking my art classes or reading my fashion magazines. With that said, I had a lot of mountains to climb, as well as many disappointments. But, if I didn't have those mountains or those disappointments I would not be the person that I am today. I learned to be confident in myself , and with that confidence I am able to share my dream with you. Thank you God for putting people in my life that encourage me and discourage me. Because I would not be who I am today. I want us all to be more confident no matter what. We need to take the discouraging words and make them into somthing encouraging.
My family is one the the biggest accomplishments in my life. I pray I can teach my son how to love the Lord and others the way that I have been taught. If he is ever discouraged I want to teach him that with every discouraging word that there is an encouraging thought, and to keep pushing on.

Few Tips
Ok, so we all tend to rush when it comes to shopping. Have you ever bought that outfit and it just stayed hanging up in your closet for years. Well, we all have, and I want to give you a few tips while you are shopping.
1st- take a friend- they can tell you the honest truth.
2nd-take a camera if you can't find a friend. You can get someone to take a picture of you in your outfits. And no it's not crazy ; ) you don't want to purchase anything that you will not wear.
3rd- Try it on. If your not 90% about the outfit then don't get it!!!!
4th-Try it on and get the store to hold it. That way you can think about what you are purchasing, and you aren't making a impulse buy.
5TH- Call me ; ) I would love to shop and give you my opinion.

Wardrobe Makeover
Andrea after-too cute ; ) We added a great pair of white,skinny jeans, gold jewelry and a cute pair of gold shoes. There you have it! A totally different look and it didn't cost a much to do it.

Hey Friends! Here is my recent Wardrobe Makeover. Andrea was very kind to let me go through her closet and then we went shopping. Thank you NY and CO. What a great day with a sweet new friend ; )
Andrea was looking for clothes that she could wear during the day with her girlfriends to lunch and transition into the evening. I showed her how to take simple tank tops and pair them with skirts and jeans. I showed her how to add jewelry to her wardrobe which enhances the look of the outfit.
We bought a lot of bright colored accessories to give her neutral wardrobe a pop. She also bought a gold pair of shoes and a cute brown shoe to complete her wardrobe attire.We kept it simple but trendy when it came to her everyday outfits.
Adding a little color to your wardrobe can be fun. Don't be too crazy with your colors and make sure they blend.Take a look at Andrea's outfit with the yellow pants and light blue cardigan. This shows you how adding a little color can make a dull outfit more fun. The Cardigan is very versatile She can wear it with many of her other outfits. The summer scarf gives her outfit a fun blend of colors.We saw this gorgeous mustard bohemian colored dress and paired it with some leggings. Not only can Andrea wear this with flats but she can take it up a notch at night and wear it with some cute gold, black, or silver heels. What a great dress!!!We took those same leggings and paired them with a long, gray sleeveless, belted cardigan. You can also wear this same outfit during the fall. Put it with a great pair of boots or heels and you are good to go. When you are shopping be sure to choose clothes that can transition into the different seasons. This is a good way to use what you have throughout the year and save money.

Hello Friends,
I want to tell you about my quick shopping adventure. I love to find great deals and wonderful stores that have friendly employees. Well I was wanting a cute outfit to wear to our fundraiser Friday night but I didn't want to pay a lot for it. So I stopped by the Hue (where they have the best customer service) because I heard they were having a wonderful sale. I didn't find my skirt on sale but it was a good price at $45.00 and I had a black tank at home to wear it with. What a bargain!!! Great versatile skirt at a wonderful price, and that is what you want to look for in stores. The hue has a lot of items that you can change up and I just love that. They also have nice jewelry at affordable prices. I bought some earrings to go with my outfit. I hope to post some pics of it. I want to encourage everyone to shop at our local stores. When you have great service and that personal one on one experience it makes you feel good about what you are buying. So please shop at the Hue, you can not ask for sweeter people to handle your shopping needs. Thank you Heather.

Hello friends I hope you all have had a wonderful weekend. Well it has been quite busy for me. We had our Annual Father Walters Fundraiser Friday night, and we had a great time raised alot of money. Thank you to all our friends and Father Walters supporters for attending. What a wonderful event, I am so proud to be able to host this with my husband. I want to encourage everyone to go and visit the sweet children out at Father Walters, what sweet little blessings they are.
Well I had a wonderful Saturday, what joy I had with my new sweet friend Andrea. She was so sweet to let me go through her closet and we had a great time. We found so many outfits that she could wear and mix with other items in her closet. After that we went shopping!!! What fun, Martin is her husband and bought her this for mothers day, how sweet was that ; ) Martin don't be mad at me, but we had the best time shopping and Andrea got alot. I was talking to a friend over the weekend and she didn’t realize how affordable my sessions are and was shocked when I told her. So I thought maybe I should explain on my blog…….The cost of a session is $50 which includes me looking through your closet to weed out clothes that are not appropriate for your body type, not in style or else has had a lot of wear. I also help you to put together new outfits from your existing clothes. AND this also includes me going with you to shop for new clothes. One last bonus is any correspondence after that is FREE for advice. All this for $50!!!!

She has three kids so it is hard not to dress comfortable and to shop . So I took a few pieces form her closet and showed her how to be versatile with them.
We all have dresses in our closets that we get so tired of. Take that simple dress and add a little
color to it. It will change the entire appearance of 
your outfit. Be sure that the colors blend, because you wouldn't want to mix the wrong colors together. you may end up looking like an Easter egg ; ) It really needs to flow.I took those same red shoes and put them with jeans and a casual cardigan set. Make sure you purchase items that you can mix with other outfits.
Jessica was having a hard time trying to find something to wear with this top she purchased. We put dark denim jeans with it added gold shoes and a pop of color with with a shell pink shell bracelet that she had. You can also pair this top with white jeans or pants, and even find a pink or light green shoe for added color.
I gave Jessica a list of a few basic items that she needed to add to her wardrobe. We had a great time, thank you Jessica!!!

This is Heather, she was was first. And we had a great time!!! I showed her how to turn her simple everyday outfit into a fun everyday outfit.

Don't be afraid to use what you have in your closet. Take ribbons, belts, scarves. And tie it into your outfit. We took ribbon from another cardigan and added it to the cardigan she has on. That gave it a totally different look. If you are going to wear skinny jeans be sure to add some
height, especially when you are short like me ; ) Add a little pop of color when it comes to your shoes when you wear solids. Even though Heather has neutral shoes, it stills adds a little 
flair and elongates her frame. We also, took a few pieces of her jewelry and that brought in color to the outfit as well. Adding a long necklace would be a great idea as well.After
Before Heather bought this adorable denim strapless dress, it even had cute pockets on the side. This is the perfect dress to take from day into night. You can always add a long necklace with a bright pair of shoes or even a neutral shoe, like Heather has on in this picture. In the after picture we took that color and added a bright red cardigan along with a silver animal print belt. I showed her that she could take these neutral shoes and keep them with the outfit. Then to top it off we put a multicolored necklace with it. Remember you can take a simple dress and add a lot to it. Even if you just fun jewelry or add a little ribbon around the waste. Another idea for your solids is to put a fun animal print shoe with your outfit. Thank you so much Heather ; )

A little ribbon goes a long way.
Here is a great idea for those of you who are trying to add a little flair to that baggy top or plain dress. Take a ribbon, it can be off a old dress ,pair of pants. Or you can buy cut ribbon, but make sure you frey check it at the ends, then tie it below your bust or right above your waist, depending on your top,dress or body type. This is a simple and easy way to make something plain look new, in expensive and very fashion forward ; )

OK Friends I want to share a little something that I noticed today with you all. My little boy is developing the best personality, he is learning so many things and I just love every minute of it. He certainly is all boy, until he hurts himself. He now comes crying to me or his dad and holds out his hand, foot, head or whatever he has bumped scratches or bruised, and wants you to pick him up and ever so slightly puts his injured little body part on your lips. And says Kiss,Kiss,Kiss. He wants to make sure that you kiss his boo,boo and hug him as hard as you can so the pain will go away. Who would of thought as tough and ruff this little boy is, that the first thing he expects is BIG FAT kiss!!! What love this little boy has to share, and what comfort it gives me. I pray everyday that GOD takes control of how Dillon is raised, and that we continue to walk as a family in Gods path. With that said, many of us are like children, we want to be excepted and loved everyday, and what harm is it telling someone you look gorgeous today or for that matter why not tell them that everyday. We are strong mom's, aunts, sitters, and cousins. Lets be sure to have total confidence in who we are and be sure to give someone that confidence in return. Happy Mothers Day!!! and remember before you re-do your closest you first need to be confident in yourself.
