Hey Friends,
Now is the time to shop for fall and next summer. You can buy many items in the store that will transition in to the fall. Remember, to layer your tops and that leggings and jeans are a great way to transition. Take what you have in your closet for the fall , and reevaluate. Make sure you buy items that can mix in with the clothes that you have in your closet. That can make a totally new outfit and you don't even have to spend a lot of money. Good times and Good friends!

Hey everyone.

I had such a great time at the beach this weekend. Both Jeffery and I are so blessed to have such great friends.

I try to take something out of my time each day,and apply it to Centsibly Chic. It was so much fun bonding with the sweetest group of girls ever. Thank you girls for allowing me to Centsibly Chic all of you! not that any of you needed it ; )

The one thing that I learned from this weekend is that friends are so important. The honesty and the love that they share with you goes such a long way. We all need that in our life. I would love to be the person in your life that can tell you what to wear and what not to wear. It is so hard to get a honest opinion at times and Centsibly Chic wants you to walk out of your house feeling confident and good about yourself. So let me be that friend who helps you. What a great week everyone, God is so good!!! I just want to update you all on some little fashion tips.

1st-confidence is the key
2nd-know your body
3rd-Know your style
4th-look trendy but not overdone
5th-Enjoy what you are wearing

Know with all of these tips go out and do a little shopping. Remember, it doesn't take a lot to add a little. Sometimes keeping it simple it the best way to go, and you may just have the right style hanging in your closet. All you need is to add a few accessories and some cute shoes to that simple outfit. Girls night out!

We had a great time at girls night out, thank you tate for hosting the party. Tate cousin Niki, was there showing off her really cute handmade jewelry and photo albums. And, yes I bought something. I bought a cute necklace that I can wear with a lot of my outfits ; ) Nikki owns a store in Birmingham called girlie girls designs. You need to check it out!!

OK, Tate just so happened to be wearing a great dress that that I showed her how to change it into three different outfits. I am so glad she wore it that night. Check out the pics of her versatile dress. She is also modeling a couple of day to night outfits. I show you how you can take it to business and into the night time. Tate is wearing a black tank underneath, and some chunky jewerly. She can take the cardigan off, put a cute clutch with it, and she is ready for night on the town with her sweet husband Scott ; ). Another Fun makeover!!
Thank you Mrs. Sue ; ) The pictures are outfits from her closet. Sue was having a hard time paring items of clothing up. We took items of clothing out of her closet like- tops, jackets, pants paired it with a little pop of color and jewelery and with that said, it gives you a totally different outfit.

Sue had a few items that she needed to get rid of in her closet.Before you shop make sure to get rid of the old and replace with new. Be careful, don't get rid of items that you can tweak or wear again. After our closet clean out, we made a list of things she needed to complete her wardrobe attire and went on a shopping extravaganza!! Morning time

Good morning everyone,
I am waking up very early these days, for some reason my sweet little boy is waking up bright eyed and bushy tailed. What happened to him sleeping in until 7:30 or 8:00??? I keep hoping he is going through a faze, We shall see. I would be ok with him waking up early if he wasn't so gosh darn grumpy, I think that he inherited that from me. So, needless to say we are not to great with each other in the morning ; )

Well, I was thinking, and we all need to start our mornings off on the right foot. I know it's hard to do that at times, but I really think that it may make your day go a little smoother. Here are a couple of ideas to help get you feeling good and moving in the morning.

Let's get ready the day before

Pick out your clothes that you are going to wear the next day. You know you are going to look good and feel great, because you tried on your outfit the night before ; )

Pray about your day before you leave your house. Pray by yourself or with your family.

Drink your coffee or Coke. Whatever makes you happy!

Try to help others. Doing a good deed can go a long way!!!

Be sure to feel good about yourself and your style. And I pray that everyone wakes up with a fresh new start to their day! xxxxx Laura

Carry small wonders in your day handbag

Even the smallest change can help take your look from day to night. A statement necklace or earrings immediately signals a different tone. Alternatively try adding a diamante or silk ribbon belt or to your outfit. I am sure many of you have belts or ribbon belts on dresses or items of clothing that you have purchased in your closet.

Change one piece of your outfit

Slipping on a pair of sexy jeans can relax an uptight corporate look. Popping on a sequined or beaded camisole will immediately add some glamour to your look. Exchanging your day handbag for a small evening clutch strikes a different tone. Or try swapping your flats, or basic court shoes for a pair of sexy strappy heels.

Conceal then reveal

A jacket, cardigan, or button front shirt can keep a special feature under wraps until you want to reveal it at night. For example, you could wear a gorgeous tank under your suit jacket and then simply whip off the jacket at night.


Acquire a convertible dress
A basic dress, like a black dress, can work perfect for your day attire and your night attire. Take a belt cinch it around your waist with or with out a cardigan. Find your best looking chunky, costume jewelry, a great set of heels, or boots, depending on the time of year. And you are good to go on fun night on the town.

Wardrobe Makeover

What a great wardrobe makeover weekend I had. Thank you to Jennifer and her mom. Two gorgeous ladies inside and out!!!
Jennifer was having problems with changing up her wardrobe style, like we all do at times. When we get to a certain age we still want to look cute, and trendy, but we are not quite sure what to wear.
I went through Jennifer's closet and showed her how to take her tops, pants and skirts . With that, we work them into her body type. was hesitant to wear skirts, so we found the perfect color and style skirt that fit her figure. Take a look at how we worked colors and accessories into the outfits.
Then we went shopping to complete her wardrobe attire. What a great time we had. We found great styles and gorgeous colors just for her.

Jennifer can transition any of theses tops as well as the pants. Remember that when you are shopping you can get more for your money when you buy clothes that can transition.
I love the yellow/green tones on Jennifer, so we put together two different color. The cardigan is a bright lime yellow and the tanks is yellow green. Both of the colors together gives a pop to her wardrobe.
If you are going to wear skinny jeans, and you are a pear shape like me, be sure to accentuate your waste. Wear heels, and make sure your tops are a little longer.

What a great time we had. God has blessed me with some very sweet clients. Thank you!!!

Beach Trip

Hey Sweet friends, what a busy week. Sorry I have not been blogging. I forgot to tell you, I went to the beach with my family for a week. It was crazy, but fun. I am glad to be back.

I hope everyone made it to some wonderful memorial day sales. I know the stores at the beach were packed full of cute clothes and awesome bargains. Don't forget, the summer time is a great time to shop. Many stores are starting to get ready for their fall line, so they are marking down many items. Don't forget to read my blog about how to transition your great wardrobe bargain that you find, into the fall.
