Hello everyone, I never thought that I would take the time to start a Blog but here I am ; )
Let me start off saying I want to thank God first and formost, and everyone who has supported me, all my family and friends, I love you dearly!!! God has blessed me over and over again. Also, I would like to thank Linda Echols who is a dear friend of the family. Thank you Linda for supporting me and getting me started. Love you all!!!
My name is Laura Handey and I have been married almost seven years to my husband Jeffery Handey, we have a 18 month old son named Dillon, whom I am absolutely in love with!!!!! what a blessing he has been. God has been so good to me and my family and I look for every opportunity to give back to him. I am creating this blog, not because I have a lot of time on my hands, ; ) but because I love what I do. My job as a Christan, is to share my faith and passion that God has given to me to others.
First- let me share with you my why I decided to start a blog. I have a College degree in Social Science and Minor in Psychology, now was this a career path that I thought I was going to take one day? well sure! but did I??? Nope, not at all. My first love has been fashion, yes like a lot of females I love clothes, but I was never able to go forward with that love. Many friends, teachers, and family members encouraged me to get in to the fashion world when I was younger, but it just didn't work out that way. So, I took the next step, I started buying clothes, shoes, jewerly at a great cost! I had sooooo many people enocurage me to do a little personal shopping on the side, so I could help them find the latest trends and thier personal style. With that said I have always had people compliment me on my style. Now, my main goal is to take what I love to do and help others. Working hard to help people stay on top of the latest trends with out spending a lot of money, is something I am very passionate about.
My jobis to go to their home and see what they have to work with in their closets, and make you, the customer, look great and feel great with out feeling like you spent a lot of money. And if I need to find that certain pieace of clothing or accessories to go with that outfit, I will find it at a great cost!!! I also, want to show you how you take one outfit and change it up several ways. Basic, is a great way to go. Mixing and matching is the key ; )
So please check my blog for upcoming sales or deals at stores. I will also post items on my blog, that i feel are great buy's, and tell you how you ca add them to your wardrobe. Or if you have a fashion question, just ask.
